As parents we want to make sure our little ones have every opportunity they need to thrive in life. The key to success is focusing on creating an ideal environment for learning including proper brain development.
Nutrition and Brain Health
Must Have Nutrients:
Foods Rich in These:
You can find these important nutrients in foods like dark leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, berries, fatty fish like salmon and nuts.
Sleep for Better Learning & Cognition:
Without adequate, consistent sleep, we can expect problems like hormonal imbalances, mood swings, weight gain and of course poor concentration. Kids are just as susceptible to these issues as adults!
For positive sleep patterns, stick to a routine for both you and your little ones. Leave technology outside the bedroom and try to get in daily exercise if possible. These activities promote normal circadian rhythm and may make it easier to fall asleep at night.
Boosting Immune Systems:
It’s crucial to make sure your child practices good hygiene routines! They need to understand the importance of basic methods to increase their body’s natural defenses!
Key Strategies To Incorporate in Your Schedule:
It’s never too early or too late to begin having conversations with your child about killing germs and staying healthy. Creating positive habits early in life will ensure they follow them as they get older!
